I'm having the same thoughts. Not only a good beat, but the heavy guitar riffs are nice. You feel it in her lyrics what she's battling mentally. "Yes, I'm very depressed. How can somebody so blessed wanna slit their wrist?".... "Damn I've got problems. Never thought a b*ch like me would ever hit rock bottom.".... "Why is you speaking on me at my lowest? As a fan of rock as well, I got goosebumps when that guitar slid through. I also felt something hearing her opening up about her mental health. People overlooked throughout the drama that this is a human being. Lost her mama, been bullied by the world for years, now cheated on. She's a strong woman to even still be soldiering through.

I really like how she poured all of her anxiety depression and trials into this song the video is steeped in metaphors. The whole vibe of this gives off someone who’s overcoming their situation but first acknowledging that there are problems in the first place which is vital to recovery. I’m proud of her and happy for her as well as impressed at how she continues to go through these storms and be open with us about it. I love it and I pray that she continues to motivate and overcome.

As someone who has struggled with crippling anxiety and depression all my life, it’s honestly so refreshing to see someone like Meg, who’s seemingly on top of the world, be so vulnerable about her own struggles with mental health. Sometimes we look at celebrities and wonder why we aren’t as “perfect” as they appear to be. It’s easy to forget that they’re human, too, and struggle with similar issues.

You are not alone! I fought a hard battle in 2019 with my deep depression. If I can do it, you can do it. Therapy and anti-depressants really helped me. I thought of them as tools not crutches. Maybe it can help you too? I no longer need medication but i know if i ever got depressed again i could use it again to help fight the battle. But everyone has their own preferences so no pressure! I'm rooting for you despite not knowing you. ❤

I knowwww! This whole song is just full of amazing lines. This is what rap is supposed to be in my opinion. I think we are all tired of rapping only about money and x and violence. It could be so much deeper and so much better. There is so much potential. And I feel like the majority of rappers waste it. Yeah it's fun to have songs occasionally that are power songs. Both of my parents are gone and I find myself drinking so this song touches my soul soo deep because I know that pain. I couldn’t imagine dealing with this kinda depression in the public eye……. Megan is so inspiring…is she perfect…no…she’s human. We tend to forget these celebrities are actual human beings that experience the same things we do…money doesn’t prevent life from happening to you.

This song came at just the right time. So many people sleep on Meg as an artist but here she is tackling mental health in a way that is true to her and deeper than the average person takes it. The artistry and metaphors presented were beautifully rendered. I always adored her and how she speaks up for these issues. This is my new go-to along side her song "Anxiety".
