i absolutely love how your backup dancers aren't one body type and challenges the idea of dancers always being extremely skinny. i grew up dancing and i was always on the thicker side and it made me extremely insecure and out of place, but i'm so so so so happy to see thicker dancers thriving when i grew up thinking it wouldn't be possible.

But I don’t see thick waists, arms and muscular legs. This personally makes me feel left out of the beauty ideal. So to see women I recognize in myself is refreshing. If she looks amazing then maybe I can too if I learn to have confidence.
